Understanding meets a tool. VEGA.

Understand your model. Then let a tool handle the calculations. VEGA helps organise your uncertainty budget and work with it thoughtfully.

VEGA / ASTRUM

Not another spreadsheet. A coherent budget.

VEGA is Metrica’s application for measurement uncertainty evaluation. The product description includes budgets with an input library, Type A and Type B evaluation, and conformity assessment with risk evaluation.

You do not need to choose between learning and a tool. Understand your model first, then organise recurring work and calculations in the application.

From an input to a decision.

VEGA is part of the ASTRUM ecosystem. It focuses on uncertainty budgets while other modules support related metrology tasks.

  1. Inputs and assumptions

Collect measurement series, certificates, resolution information and environmental data. Choose your model and distributions based on the process.

  2. Budget and calculations

Convert inputs to standard uncertainties and organise contributions. Check units, sensitivity coefficients and dependencies.

  3. Result and meaning

Interpret the result for the measurement objective and decision rule. An application does not replace method validation or laboratory competence assessment.
